Whether your focus is to become a better lifter to perform better in class, increase strength, or compete, our supplemental 3-day/week and comprehensive 5 day/week programs are meticulously designed by Coach Mlke Sydoryk, DC. 

The focus of the programs are to build over 6-week blocks in a liner fashion based off 1RMs or goal weights. The program is designed for lifters of all fashion - from beginner to advanced.

  • Developed for those who are adding weightlifting into their training on-top of classes or another functional fitness program

  • Access to coaches Mike Sydoryk and Ryan Lean during dedicated class times (Wednesdays and Saturdays)

  • Open gym members can access weightlifting classes as well

  • Video and remote coaching feedback with Coach Mike Sydoryk

  • Access to weightlifting platforms during all open gym hours

Dr. Mike Sydoryk, DC

Chiropractor, Movement & Olympic Lifting Specialist

If you've spent any time at RISE, you've probably met the lovely Mike Sydoryk, either through treatment at DynamicYYC or at one of our weightlifting classes. Mike is a national-qualifying Olympic Weightlifter, Chiropractor, and movement expert.

From Coach Mike: 

I started, like most, in CrossFit. Always having a love for the lifts, I transitioned from competitive CrossFit to solely Lifting 8 years ago. Over those years, I have been able to work with amazing coaches and some legends in the weightlifting world. 

I have put up a national qualifying total for my entire career and continue to strive for international competition. Throughout my journey, I have consistently kept up with coaching and programming to help create a fun, competitive atmosphere always striving to be better.
